Fourways Vehicle Rental was proud to recently sponsor Kevin O’Neil of Unison on a recent Lands End to John O Groats charity cycle ride by providing a minibus for the trip.
Kevin used to be a competitive cyclist and a long standing ambition of his has always been to complete the gruelling 902 miles on two wheels and he decided to do this to raise awareness and much needed funds for three charities: Cancer Research UK, CHAS and the Unison Welfare’s Bucket and Spade Appeal.
Despite having to end the trip early due to unforeseen circumstances Kevin has so far raised approximately £4,000. A full report of the trip is online at Kevin’s website www.lejog07.org.uk.
